For the most part, yes. As boost, or air entering the engine, increases, so does the amount of fuel being delivered. More air and fuel = more power and higher temperatures. The way the methanol injection kits are setup is based on boost levels. At lower boost levels, you may or may not need methanol injected into the motor. As boost climbs, so does the amount of methanol being used. My kit has LED indicators showing the different levels of methanol being used. As soon as I go from vacuum to boost the LED turns red indicating the system is armed and methanol is ready to be sprayed from the pump. If I stay in it and create boost the LED will turn red, white or green. Each color corresponds to a different level of methanol used. If the LED flashes red, the methanol tank level is getting low. You probably have a few more WOT pulls before being empty.
