It rained here in North County San Diego too. It was raining pretty good when I drive in to work this morning.

We still have dark skies. A few random large drops here and there throughout the day, but no actual rain. Yet. We'll see. I love it when it's like this

I miss the snow. Mountain snow. That is the very best kind I don't think I've ever been as happy as I was when living in the mountains.

Our grass is growing so fast right now I cut last Saturday and cut after work today and it was like a hay field. I hate this time of year you almost have to cut twice a week. Spent the rest of the night in the garage until 11:30. I got one axle completed with reclutcer rings pressed on and all the spacers and bearing and installed with e-brake. That was a first for me doing something like this it was stressful! It's in and turning free, so the other one should be a little smoother tomorrow. Over and Out

Same here - made it 6 days before I had to mow again. It was too hot yesterday to trim, so that will have to wait. I have an embankment that is too steep for the tractor at the end of our driveway.

I mowed 2 days ago and it's ready again. I will say that new mower I bought last year is bad ass.....it saves me about 30 minutes of mowing time. That thing flies. Even still....mowing is not something I look forward to doing.

What do you have? I got a new John Deer push/ self propelled last summer and it boogies. I dam near have to run to keep up. I could probably use a rider as all my neighbors have them but my yard is full of garage, pool, swing set, pond, flower beds, and garden so it's quicker to just push it and get the trimming done in one shot. The exercise don't hurt either

I got this one...Troy Bilt XP Super Bronco. I love it. It looks sharp too. I do kinda regret not getting something with a rear pto so I could buy a tiller attachment. Would save a ton of time in the garden each spring. For mowing though it works for what I need it to do. Like I say....it saves me quite a bit of time. I started having the boy take the push mower and go around the swing set and a small side area that has some other obstacles in it. Really saves time now. I need to time myself again doing it that way. Probably saving 45 minutes versus my old mower doing it all.

Shop Troy-Bilt XP Super Bronco 50 V-Twin 50-in Hydrostatic Riding Lawn Mower with Kohler Engine (Kit Sold Separately) at Lowes.com

Went out to Cpop's surprise birthday party yesterday with Zapper. Both Birds ran great and had to look badass running down the road together.
