And the other day I smoked me an orange 2000 Mustang svt cobra with a cold air intake and full exhaust. We raced 4 times. On the first run we stayed together up to 60 or so then I left him in the dust. On the 2nd run he took me on the lonch but once again i passed him at about 60 or so. The third race I was ready and it was a flat out kill. I must have beaten him by at least 3 car leghth. Then we raced from a 60 roll and once again I killed him. We talked for a bit and we parted ways. But that is a nice Mustang. I'll give you that.

In fifth no less, one thing though, it kinda starts shakin weird around 150? Anybody else had that problem with 4.10's or lower?

I've run mine to a little over 145, probably right at 150, 4.10s in a M6, no problems for me. I've got SFCs and LCAs though, so it could just be your frame loose under pressure; Maybe a bent axle, maybe a chipped gear....

I got a full welded subframe, with an adjustable torque arm connected to the subframe, a BMR kit. I also put new gears in it recently. Maybe I should try some aftermarket lower control arms too?

Obviously the cobra wasn't racing he was playing with you which is why he stayed right next to you and never let u get ahead. I'm guessing he was at about 2/3 throttle, maybe less.

Not the stock one, it's a Whipple 2.3L

very nice man! I love the way those superchargers sound... i wouldnt mind owning a cobra if i had the money for it.

theres a cobra owner who goes to the same local car shows i go to.. he has a 04 cobra vert. He claims he dyno'd 675rwhp with a smaller pulley, diablo tuner, and bolt ons (stock s/c) and i called BS on him but he insist on it and wont listen to me...
