welp...hopping on a plane at 5am in the morning with my mom to go to Louisiana. My aunt got diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer yesterday and its not looking good. They removed like 20 pounds of her intestines yesterday afternoon and found tumors on her liver.

Off early today was at the doc's getting stitches out of my head now home waiting for rain to move back in have softball tonight not looking good. If cancelled I just might get some more done on the car.

Game got cancelled but not until we drove to the field and wasted my time and screwed me out of any chance of working in garage. It was down pouring and the radar was showing several hrs of rain moving threw however the home team coach was thinking we could get it in.
so after driving to the field and wasting everyone's time he called me in the parking lot to cancel.
So some of us stopped at a local eaterie and had some dinner and a few beers.....

I enacted my own protocol for that several years ago. I have radar on my phone too.....if it looks even close to the kids not playing we don't go. I've sat around waiting more than once. Soccer is a little different.....unless there's lightning they play so rain doesn't stop the game usually. It just effects where I park.
