1969 Camaro Twin Turbo Dart LS Next 427

Huge project I wanted to share going on over at the shop.

Car is a 1969 Camaro "Pro Touring" deal. When I took delivery of the project, it already had Detroit Speed suspension front and rear, through the floor SFC, few body modifications and some Asanti 3 piece wheels.




This car is going to be a pretty serious build. We are shooting for 1500whp.

The motor is a Dart LS Next iron block 427. CNC LSX/LS7 6 Bolt Heads, T&D Shaft Mounts, Lunati Link-Bar Lifters, Callies Billet Goodies, Custom Grind from EPS, Moroso Pan, etc etc.







Turbos come in the flavor of the brand new Precision Gen2 6870 T4s released this year at SEMA. Capable of 1100hp each! All being controlled via some Turbosmart Hyper-Gate 45s





Car is getting prepped for the cage before we do anything else, but I wanted to get the 1/4 panel exhaust out of the way so I know where the down bars will land. We machined up these trick billet flanges to flush the exhaust right under the vents.
