Anyone seen or heard of this intake?

Equal to a Fast 102. Definitely much prettier. Lol

Aluminum is going to get a lot of heat soak over the polymer plastic. Looks shinny.

Dorman's has a new LS6 style intake out if that helps any...I've heard time and time again that the Aluminum intakes have seal and heat soak issues. Everytime I've looked into getting one I would hear exactly what Scott said x50 lol

I'm hearing mixed reviews so far but the power numbers are legit. Quick Test: Dyno Testing Dorman's LS6 Intake Manifold - OnAllCylinders

So function takes precedent over something pretty. Oh well. It was a momentarily happy thought.

well see that was why I started looking...my car is black and so is a lot of stuff in the engine bay but if I had a polished intake and I opened the hood BLING BLING! Just isnt that functional

The link doesn't work for me lol. I have had a professional products aluminum intake which may or may not be similar to the link since I can't see what you posted. The PP intake fit was a pos and it was heavy as heck compared the the stock or FAST intake. One thing on the heat soak I doubt it really gets any. Mine never got that hot. Hotter than plastic but not as hot as the headers or anything.

Nvm I found what you were looking at. Hi ram intakes like that usually don't fit under the cowl without loosing the wipers and cutting the cowl.

according to the link about the Dorman an LS6 intake adds about 15hp. Looking at the graph the Dorman is about 10hp below the LS6. So if my math skills are right the Dorman only adds about 5hp.

The intake Jodi posted looks a whole lot like Holly's intake.

BBK's had a lot of fitment issues.

And Pat you could always hydrodip your intake. I've seen some that are awesome.

Yea...i thought about that too...Now I'm focused on the MSD intake. It looks really nice and looks like its going to have some decent numbers.

I am probably getting the MSD if it ever comes out lol. The original ship dates were the 8th of January but now it is May. I may need a ls3 style intake before then though lol and that is assuming the dates don't get pushed back again.
