Convertible top parts

I've been unsuccessful in finding parts for my convertible top for my 98 ttrans am. I just replaced the top but the installer could not find the two long springs that i assume are for tension. I also need the long thin adjustable screw(?) that i assume is for tension too. any points in the right direction would be appreciated. thanks

Have you seen this ebay ad for a pair of cables with the springs? If there are the springs you are looking for the price is definitely right.

Found another place that seems to carry the cables and springs. They might have the other part you are looking for, they go by Cartopsplus (dot) com . Definitely let us know if you find a good source.

Thanks these springs to not connect to cables. i'll take another look and see if those springs will work and check out catopsplus. just love black trans am convertibles!! oops sorry dark colors all look black to me. a little color blind drives my wife crazy! checked out spring/cables. not the same thing. spring is a couple of inches long and one end is extended about 6 or 8 inches.
