And the Cayman, and the newer Boxter. My friend had Cayman club car (factory race car you can drive on the street). Needless to say he turned faster laps with that than he did in his heavily modified C6 that ran 10s on street tires and would hit 175+ at Sebring. Of course now he has a heavily modified R8 V10 GT.

Those Cayman's are no joke!!! Dude I used to work with in Atlanta had a modified Cayman and that car was very surprising. I thought it was another "boxster"...I was very wrong. Funny you mention an audi...he went from an S6 to the Porsche. Im pretty sure he has a Cayenne now.
I have watched quite a few porsche's walk all over vette's on a track so I have zero doubts that car was bad@ss.

The Vette had ditched the stock suspension and a full coil over setup with big beefy sway bars and had front/rear aero. So it was set up for the track. Made just over 500 rwhp with a cam, fast, and exhaust (tune of course) so the car was no slouch. His Audi is bad ass. Has about 60k worth of "upgrades" for the carbon fiber bits, wheels/brakes, ditched the rear wing and a full carbon fiber inlay with fixed wing, roll bar.....its a bad car. It runs 10s as well with only about 480 awhp (manual tranny car too!). However.....he is sending it away for a nice little twin turbo set up to get him over the 800 awhp. I hate him. lol Actually I don't, he is a really good dude and a great friend.

reminds me of a race I had a loooooooooooong time ago coming out of philly... Some chick in a boxster thought she was speed racer... I had to get over a lane for my exit after blowing her doors off several times... She does the ricer fly by giving me the finger... I smiled and waved... nothing pisses off people like that worse than a smile and wave...

A four post lift would be a nice addition some day... especially with a chassis dyno attached to the back of it!

It's not how fast you can go. It's how fast you can get there.

Still have not been to the movies in years. I'll get to see it on TV eventually.
