board issues
First off....this was better at the top of the forum instead of way down here at the bottom. Secondly....the site is slow as hell these days. It's really getting brutal to just surf around. I was getting a random script error but even without getting that error it's taking forever to load. Also....what's up with the "shift" when you open pages? I wish I had a dollar for everytime I clicked on a thread right after opening the site and then it shifts up and I end up looking at someone's profile.

I noticed the "shift" as we are calling it. Other than that though, I am not experiencing any other issues. Site is loading ridiculously fast for me.
There seems to be a problem with running it on a 64-bit machine for some. I am running Windows 7, using Firefox, regular ole laptop and using Wi-fi at the hotel now. Pages almost load immediately after clicking on them.

I say it's the everywhere side bar It's the only thing that makes sense to me at this point. I'm having a hell of a time with the slow page loading too. Especially in FF. Chrome is better. But, the side bar advertisements loading is what seems to make the page jump all over the place while it loads.
Ed upgraded it. But, it didn't help much if any.

Do agree with the sidebar probably having to do with the shifting.
Loading seems pretty quick to me. I use chrome on my small laptop

I'm using windows 8 (which sucks balls) on a 2 month old computer. None of the other sites I go to have any issues....just this one. The sidebar makes sense....especially with the shift. It's like it takes a couple seconds for that to load and then shifts the page when it does.

That is what's happening. Sorry you have Windows 8. I hear it sucks balls.

I wish I could see what you guys see. The site loads fine for me. On either IE or FF running Windows 7 or 8

I keep getting a script error.....said ls1.com has stop responding due to a script. The site is just unusable for me anymore. Took me 5 minutes just to get to this thread. I'd appreciate an email to ibzrg6@aol.com if you get it figured out. This is the only site that does it and I go to multiple vBulletin sites.

I'm going to give firefox a try. So far no errors but page loads are slow.

I have tried this site on 3 different computers, can't see any issues.

I am running Windows XP on my personal laptop which is from 2002 - 11 years old. It only has 716MB of RAM and like a 1.5GB processor. No issues from that laptop either. My primary computer is my business laptop which is 2011 and running Windows 7. No issues either. Both are 32-bit.
I use the latest version of Firefox on both.
Very strange.

I tried it again with IE and still get the script error. As soon as I stop that script the page loads up. I think it's because of that ad bar.
also did a speed test which is about where it always is

I will occasionally get a slow page load and things seem to stall out. The jumping around is an annoyance -- I have done the same as you, 0rion, many times trying to click on something.
