    I bought one based on the reviews of the box on GarageJournal.com, great site for garages btw, and love it. You honestly have to set aside the prejudice against Horror Freight and compare their chest against a C-man chest of similar price. The HF chest is thicker steel, better slides, larger, and both are made in China now. For home owner use, this box can't be beat. Wait for it to go on sale, it goes on sale regularly for about $300.

    I don't know about the quality of their cabinets but I bought a pen magnet from them to pull up my lifters and it snapped in half getting stuck in the block. I had to remove the heads to get it out.

    We have a Harbor Freight about an hour south of us. I have several tools from there and have never had a problem with any of them. Granted, none of my everyday stuff is H.F., but some of the more esoteric items that I only use on rare occasion are from there -- bore scope, plastic hammer, axle bearing pullers, vibratory polisher, etc...
