Want to buy parts. Or where to buy them pls
I need some parts or if some one cam tells where to get them.
I need the bottom piece that holds the spring on the bottom of the shock.
And also the piece that goes on top of the shock the one that holds the spring

I would try gmpartsdirect or a junk yard if you have one locally.

thanks jon.. ill check gmparts direct,
junk yard parts will have the same problem i have.. the nut on top of the shock
this is the problem.. none of the shops i went want to torch it or cut if off..

Did you try using heat to break it loose? Most have to heat it to remove it. It's a bad design as water collects there and just sits, causing the nut to cease up.

its a nightmare,, the shop i went dont wanna heat it up bc the heat can melt the rubber around it..
now im lost dont now what to do

We had to cut the shaft to get the shock out.
If you decide to try that, don't forget the spring compressor.

You can try using a dremel tool to break it off.

tomorrow ill go to another shop and see if they wanna cut it or use the air gun to brake it..
ill go to the autozone to get the spring compressor. a friedn of mine said its kinda dangerous to use.. i have to be extra careful

ok i just found out autozone sales this parts.. i found the top one,,
but im still looking for the bottom part that holds the spring.. anyone knows what is the name of that?

silver- 2000 formula
your upper mount is toast.....get a new 1..........GM is best.......any other you may have fitment issues........what lower mount are you referring to?

thanks bro... i decided to take the stock struts apart.. so everithing is done.. GM was asking close to $600 for this pieces..
