First kill in the LT1... and its a good one

So I took my new 97 out last night just to cruise and play around and get a feel for it (nothing like my ls1 but fun non the less and so far seems to have a little more wow factor with people believe it or not (i think its the color)) So anyways Id already embarrassed some of the local rice and I was just gonna cruise some back roads and all of a sudden this 03 GT comes barreling out of a side street half sideways and gets up along side me. It worked out perfect cause the light went red and there was no one in front of us. he rolls down his window and tells me hes near stock with a few things done...i believe he said cold air intake, exhaust and short shift. I told him i was stock. He threw a little rev so i agnolaged. (oh by the way i got another automatic... why cant i find 6 speed cars

) So the light goes green and we both nail it. he got a jump at the line then we were even till about 60, around that time i started to edge up on him, by 90 his bumper was at my door and he let off so i did as well. He gave me the thumbs up and turned off. Didnt kill him by a substancial amount but I was pretty impressed. Good race
