    LS?

Hey guys, I just got a 2002 chevy silverado shortbed regular cab pickup with the 4.8 liter LS motor. I was just wondering what LS motor it has, Im just curious. So if anyone knows what they put in those trucks let me know please, Thanks.

    I didn't check them all, but the 5.7L aka LS1 is actually a 346ci motor, not 350.

I do believe you are right...., oddly enough those hp ratings are fairly close to their C.I. displacement

well that was listing a 6.2 as 365, 425 and 628.....thats some serious rounding, lol

but his numbers are off regardless, the G8 came a 361hp 6.0L, and a 425hp 6.2L. that doesnt correlate to his at all, wether its hp or C.I.
