They dyno is a Dyno Dynamics unit. The yellow curves are hard to see, it figures they would be the final numbers.

    Final numbers are 356.7 HP @ 5,650 rpm and 360.5 ft/lbs. Torque @ 4,850 rpm.

I think that is pretty good for a 144k car with just an SLP Air Lid and Smooth Bellows, Kooks emissions LT's and catted Y, and a Magnaflow cat back.

Finally got my Mickey Thompson dr mounted up on my TA. WOW!!!! What a difference. Almost completely eliminated wheel spin on the street. I cant wait to go to the track to see what she does now. Hoping to break out of the 11 sec club and dip into the 10's.

Thanks, I was really shocked when Jason showed me the numbers. From what I can tell, Dyno Dynamics dyno's are fairly stingy machines as well.

I am really happy with the numbers, especially since the car had 144K miles when we ran it. I think its a good indicator that the top and bottom end are in good shape.

I can definately feel the difference, I chirped tire shifting between 2nd and 3rd, with some wider and fairly stickier tires than what came stock.

Yesterday I drove mine in my mother's funeral procession, r.i.p mother. She always loved her '86 Trans Am. I even took it a 1/4 mile down a dirt road. So she certainly was special enough lol.

The day prior to that, I took these gorgeous shots of the car. Showing off the new overlays on the front plate cover, door badges, and center taillamp overlay. Love how it all came out.

I finally put on some aftermarket black wheel centers on my factory 17 inch Z06 wheels. I figured I'd run them a bit to see if the paints stays before I put emblems on them.

Once I get my tax money back, all of the family fleet is going in for detailing, and I'll put some pic's up.

Took my daughter out in the WS6 today to go to the playground and some lunch, and she said "Go fast Daddy!", so I did a 20 mph roll flogging through 2nd gear for her on the main road. From the "Wow" and the giggling, I think I can say she approves of the new tune.

I really like that setup. Having the alternator up top like that and above the PS pump is sweet. That will keep it from getting wet when driving through puddles and if the PS gets a leak, it's not gonna get all over the alt.

I bought the kit from jegs for all the accessories, brackets, and hardware came with it. It was a really good price. It's my OCD which made me do it because since the engine is new I have to have everything on it new lol.

Spent all day yesterday hopefully fixing my fuel pump issue. It would randomly cut out, jiggle the harness and back to working. I went to a junk yard and after going thru 4 Firebirds & 3 Camaros I finally found a sending unit close to mine. I ended up swapping over the connector that the fuel pump attaches to the pump and the top of the metal unit to connect the wires out of the tank, the yellow plug you see on the top of the tank. So far so good, I'll be skeptic till I can go on trips across the bay bridge without it cutting out at random times. I also adjusted the LCA's to get my rear back into a very close alignment. I had forgotten to make this adjustment when I first got it all back together, it was 7/8" off. The vibration I was having at high speeds has now all but disappeared. I think what's left is due to needing new tires, these Nitto 555's are 5 yrs old and have been sitting for 2+ yrs.

I also tried putting in a fixed antenna from a Firebird and no luck. Not sure why it wouldn't work.

Know the feeling was gonna just replace shocks and springs but as of now I have all new suspension either on order or sitting in my office waiting to go on. Only thing I'm lacking now is new a arms and will be ordering those today. Wanna do a new k member too while it's a disassembled but between new leather seat cover, suspension items and alot of odds and ends I'm tapped out for the season. Looked at the overall bill and realized I could be over halfway to a new crate engine. Good news a new engine and trans rebuild should be the next big things on the list unless I decide to repaint the car. Probably just do the k member then with them.
