I think my neighbor enjoys hearing my LS1 idling. Much more than my Cavalier 2.2L lol!
I drove mine to the girlfriends parents and back. Passed PaJeff in his DD on the way home. I believe my passenger side DRL socket is shot.2000 Trans Am WS.6 M6

Got my WS6 back from API (F-Body Central) today. New water pump, fuel level sending unit, and a Walbrough 255 pump. I'm goad we changed the pump out because it fires right up now, instead of waiting a few seconds.
Is the Walbrough considered a "mod'" if its to a mostly stock car that probably isnt going to use the extra capacity?

What did you do with your Trans Am today?
IMHO, to be considered a mechanical mod, it has to increase performance or reliability. In this case I'd say no-ish or yes, kinda.

^^ This. It is a replacement of a factory part really -- not an add on or a performance enhancement in and of itself.

So much rain this week. Pretty much walked by it in the garage due to the rain. Fixed my passenger side tailpipe un-leveled issue with a hanger strap and a clamp. Both tips look great now. Still want to get the whole system pulled to the left a little more. The passenger side tip is too close to the bumper corner for comfort.

Hardwired the right headlight and motor actuator in. The 5 wire connector would loosen up every now and then, so I put a zip tie around it to keep it 'connected'. Sometimes it would still loosen up and all 4 headlights would come on, but would be dim. I would open the hood with the lights on and reach down and squeeze the connector, and the low beams would get bright again, and the high beams would go out. In an effort to get highbeams, I thought hardwiring it would fix it. It did not. Back to square one. I also waxed the car, and the wheels. Love that smooth feel.!!!!

You can usually "re-tension" the connectors with some strategic application of pressure. This is best performed with the female end removed from the plastic housing. Although they make a special tool to depress the metal tab to release each female pin, it can sometimes be accomplished with careful study and a screwdriver from an eyeglass set.

Finally put my car cover on for her winter nap just need to put the battery tender on forgot to take it with me, called for my new rear wheels today. Price went up almost $20 per wheel oh well they are worth it to have street and drag tires mounted on the same wheel to maintain the look. Order them hopefully tomorrow

^^ Completely agree on matching the wheels. Now you just need a set of skinnies up front!

Walked by it, pulled the leaves off of it and contemplate on whether to shoot that cat that is walking on it.

Started to ponder how much of the (rotting) exhaust and cats I can replace in the next few weeks and still have it hook up to headers in the near future. Drivers cat is showing a crack in the weld and the exhaust is starting to rust and rattle. Feelin' poor!

I would love to but I don't have the money for that, and the cats/exhaust is starting to become a problem now.
So, right now, I am trying to figure if I can out the cats, O2's, cat-back on now and would the system bolt up to the air mgmt compatable headers and y pipe later.
