Here is a rendering of how the emblems will look. The 421 is going on the hood and the 6.9 are going on my fenders above the vents.

Getting ready to do some interior work on my car...the interior is in really really really good shape but the seats drive me insane and dont really hold me very well if I'm cornering. Going to start doing autocross style racing in the Spring so I need something better than stock. Looked up my interior codes and it says ebony but my interior doesnt look black...more like a super dark gray. Seems that I remember ebony on my camaro being a little bit darker for some odd reason.
Anyways...here's the seats I'm looking at snagging. Heard good things about them and they arent that expensive...thought about doing the GTO seat swap for the fronts because they look good and do a fairly good job of holding you in corners, but they are hard to find in a wrecked car.

Not sure if you know but you need special brackets for those seats whether it is the ones 6le makes for them or you make them it is up to you. I like them and will get them at some point as well.

They have a write up somewhere I think on how to keep the controls.

I heard something about that but I havent looked into it yet...I've heard that the seats automatically sit higher because of the additional bracket but I'm hoping if I lower the seat some via the electric controls that I'll be able to sit how I want. I'll keep you guys posted on how it goes once I get it all ordered and researched.

Regardless I don't think it would be very noticeable since the bracket isn't that thick but I would think you would be able to achieve that.

When you do get the new seats, are you interested in getting rid of the old one's? My brother bought a car from a member on here, and the seats need to be replaced. It's cool if your gonna keep the controls, cause all of his work just fine. The seats he has now are just torn up and the foam is jacked up.

Yea I can part ways with them after I buy some new ones. I'll take some pictures of them a little later and post them so you can see what they look like. Drivers seat has a small area that has a little tear in it but you can't really see it from outside of the car or from inside the car. I know it's there so it drives me insane, but I take the car to shows all of the time and people never notice it.

You WILL sit higher in those seats. And the electronic setup actually sits you up alil more.
I bought mine from Mark himself and there is a write up on his seats to use those controls. Now I like marks work and have bought Alot of stuff from him but these similar seats sell on eBay for 300ish shipped. I personally didn't like them and actually ended up putting trans am seats into my camaro

Silver- 1999 Trans-Am, 2012 Sonic
Spent the entire day reading up on the pros and cons of different after market rear end's and at this point will begin saving for a Strange S60. I know there are some down falls such as some H.P loss seems the # is aprox 3.5% however the pinion angle transfers into smother gear lash than a 9". Changing the gear ratio from 3:42 to 4:11 will help eliminate most losses in 1/4 mile times.
Weight, looking like 20lbs over a 12 bolt and 10lbs over a 9" and if you go with the S-track over the Truetrack there is a 8lb savings. Anyhow That is 2-3 gallons of fuel and what better to have over the rear for traction is weight not so much for road racing.
A lot of mention on 12bolts in a six speed car after a few launches the housing tend to distort causing them to whine. S60 and 9" that won't be a issue.
Installation of the S60 is the easiest and with the Torq arm mount like the 10 bolt there is no need for a adjustable torq arm and Strange will mount your backing plates and relucter rings free of charge. 3-4 hrs is the norm for a complete swap.
Last but not least the important part price. The S60 needs a shorter drive shaft but the price for Rear + upgraded drive shaft and it comes in slightly less than the 9" & 12 bolt units I spec'd out for something that is damm near bulletproof. Money well spent IMO.
I know everyone has their favorite set up and some will agree and some won't. My opinion was gathered from hrs. of research from magazine article's this form as well as other forms like it, just about everything on the web I could find.99 Trans Am, SLP Lid, Blackwing filter, smooth bellow, Ported TB, LS6 intake, Ws6 lower ram air box, OBX LT's, Magna Flow cat back, LS7 clutch, Tick MC, Hurst Shifter, Frost Tune, UMI SFC,LAC, STB, PB, Torq Arm, Super Hawk hood, Torq Thrust II, Kee Audio.
Strange S60 4:10's, D&S Rotors, S/S Brake Lines.
Nitto NT05R Track Tire's, 12.7 @ 108 / 1.82 60'
Wish list.

I guess now you need to change your "wish list " from the Moser 12 bolt, to the strange? LOL
