Yea If that rotor decided to break apart that could have been really ugly...saw somebody run over a drive shaft once on the interstate but nobody got hurt. These are the kind of things that happen that I consider freak accidents.

For some reason my head light loosened and moved and hit the hood when turned on and broke off a tab on the Frame that is cast so I had to use JB weld and readjust the whole thing because when it hit the hood everything moved. Got everything lined back up and they open and shut and no scratches in the hood thank God, oil Chang tomorrow and start to prepare for GM Nationals

Nice Scott, Now the the fun of getting it lined up with the fenders and lights so all the gaps are right.

. Make sure to run a few heat cycles through with it on the car before paint as it removes some junk from the fiberglass and allows it to relax a bit and some final adjustments may be needed

The WSQ actually fits really well out of the box or at least mine does.

Changed the oil with my daughter, then we popped the tops and went for a cruise.

VFN told me I should have it on the car for 45-60 days prior to painting...besides it will be at least that long before I can afford paint.

Im trying to find a hood that is gel coated for that exact reason...it'll match my paint for the 60day period

Super Hawk from US EXOTICS. mine was shiny black. If my car was black I would have left it for a while. Cost me $1,000 to paint

thats actually exactly what I've been looking at...love that hood. The inlets could suck up a small child they are so big lol

I can't speak on any other hood as I haven't really looked at any up close but the Super Hawk is a quality piece and Roger over at US Exocits is awesome to work with. My car has been added to his eBay add, but I don't see any listed right now.

I have found 2 recently but they both sold. I follow him on ebay so if one pops back up I'll more than likely snag it...
