I bet you do Ben.It's like looking at your car.
By the way...VERY nice addition there. Changes the whole look of your car.

Thanks Jeff. I've got 4 shops to look at this week. We'll see what State Farm gives me for the damage on Tuesday. I wish John lived closer, I love the job he did on his T/A. I'd be willing to let him paint it...If he were willing
The only good thing from this is....After I had a chance to polish and wax/buff this car, I noticed that even though the CarFax was clean , the nose was re-painted before. And the paint really doesn't match to well. It's a shade lighter then the rest of the car. This is where I will get "anal" (for lack of a better word) about the paint and what shop does the work.

Dave at least you had collision, so at least it's not as bad as it could have been. I don't carry it, I would be completely screwed if I damaged my car. And thanks for the praise on my painting but I'm slow as hell!!! lol

Yeah John, but slow means you take your time and get it right. I can only imagine what your car looks like up close and personal. The pics look GREAT, so I know seeing it in person.....It has to be OUTSTANDING!!!

The hood is trash. It's a TrueFiber hood. It's split at the edge. Along with stress cracks on top between the scoops. The intake ducts are also cracked on the underside.

your accident has convinced me to save my bumper cover and the stock hood and not sell them, in case something like that happens to me. OE ram air hood are getting way too expensive

I finally got my starter off. Some idiot put 15mm bolts instead of 13mm. I had to break the dust cover to get a socket around it.

Somewhere I read said it was 13. Anyway for some reason the one close to the trans dust cover wouldn't allow for a socket around it.

Figured it out, on ls1howto it says 13 for 99 and up and 15 for 98. Regardless, I will be putting 13mm bolts back in. I guess I didn't see that 13mm was for 99+ and not for 98s.
