Black/ Silver- 98 TA WS6/ 01 C5 Corvette
I finished disassembling my short block. The only bearing that looks the least bit questionable is the rear most bearing.
Also does anyone know what these numbers mean?
This is suppose to be a LS-6 block and appears as such but I can't find out what any of those numbers mean and none that I see look like the LS-6 part number I have found on the internet.1998 Trans Am WS6 - Phantom

The block part number is on the back of the block under the driver side head. The P/N should be 12561168.

Yeah I didn't see that number any where but none of the other numbers come up with anything either. I will look again later. I guess another way to check would be to measure the bore with a digital caliper, it isn't a ls1 since the valley isn't the same it looks as a ls6 is.

Never mind I found it. It is in fact a ls6 block.

The bore is the same for both an LS1 and LS6. Only major revision was a change to the internal webbing as far as I know.

I have an office in Ludington that I run. I'm down there a couple times a month. Traverse City is awesome in the summer time. Let me know when you make it up this way.

Two days ago. Replaced the O2's, spark plugs, cleaned the MAF, cleaned and oiled K&N, changed the oil. (Mobil 1 5-30) Replaced both hood struts. This , along with replacing the steering column last week takes care of some of my small problems. Took it out for a drove Sunday, and no longer chugs and sputters climbing a hill in 6th at 70. No more SES light either. I found 3 of my plugs were chipping ceramic. Is that bad, or part of the removal?

The ceramic center cone around the electrode, or the ceramic outer shell that is covered by the plug boot?

The outer shell.

Sounds like maybe someone had the socket at an angle, rather than perpendicular to the plug, when they installed or removed them.

Black- 99 WS.6 - Modified
Ordered a new tranny mount, picking it up tomorrow. Resecured the exhaust, and torque arm setup. Something was moving around and making a contact noise after the tranny/clutch/mc project. Hopefully resecuring everything and the new tranny mount will eliminate that.
