Just packed up my PCM to send to Frost! This was my first time removing the PCM, I have to say it was a pain getting it out it didn't take that long but still. The part that was a pain was maneuvering it out of the small space. All the cables were in the way so I had to push them out of the way and wrap the harness connectors around the hood strut. One of the heads on the bolts for the plastic bucket the PCM was in broke, anyone know of the best way to remove that?

Car ran a best in the 12.6's and my 60' times were all in the 1.7's. Still need to play with my launch as I have pulled 1.6's before. I was trying to get Dawn to drive it so I could watch the launch. It was warmer than I thought it would be and about 20 degrees hotter than when I ran last year's best of 12.43 towards the end of the season. Traction was good and they were putting the spray to the track all day.

'Jinx - I called Burkhart and they indicated I would shed around 25 lbs. with their tubular front bumper support.

Well got the car back from the exhaust shop since the magnaflow pipe to the catback was a little long. What shitastic job they did. Guy butt welded at an angle. Didn't even try to shorten the pipe and adjust the y pipe just welded it in. So now its at an extreme angle and I have no clearance. Can't even go near a speed bump. All I got was excuses when I asked what they did. Now I'm gonna have to find someone to clean up this guys mistake and fit the pipe properly. So pissed right now. Pretty sure the weld is leaking also.

I wouldn't pay a dime for the "work" that guy did.The guy should have to pay for what it costs to have it fixed. When I had a c4 corvette, I had a borla put on and it came out with uneven sides and they said that they would have to do additional work on the exhaust for it to be flush because there is some stuff in the way and it would be another couple hundred to have that done. I swear some shops just suck and don't know wtf they are doing.

I told him I wanted a refund. His response was the work was already done. So I also told a few of his long term customers what he did. They are no longer his customers.

On top of that the catback is now rubbing something. Never had a problem before. The guy told me it was really tight already. Poor design in his opinion. Never heard a complaint before about magnaflow. His response at one point was too bad we couldnt get more money out of you.

Wow....that guy sounds like a complete prick and just wants your money. My loudmouth doesn't rub so I doubt the magnaflow does due to anything other than that guys fault.
