Been a little busy last weekend. I finally got around to installing the sail panel I got off a junked '95. I had it it painted probably 6 weeks ago but just haven't had the guts to start ripping off the stupidly bubbled-up one but finally got up the nerve - boy, talk about anxiety. It actually ended up being fun tearing that damn thing up. I'm taking it back to the body shop in the morning to have them buff it out as it was too flimsy to do that correctly off the car. Then, just for something different, I plasti-coated the spokes of my stock wheels black and left the outer rim shiney. I think it looks bad-ass and others seem to like it. about 10 bucks and new rims !!! ..... until I can afford really nice 18's one day. I'll post pics of one day. Going to GM Carlise this weekend, if ur there you can give me ur opinion. Too many groans and I'll peal it off !

Tore the console out, drained tranny, pulled driveshaft, and started on torque arm! Clutch line is a pita without tool...I'll wait for it! Tick MC and bleeder are on the way! Hoping Monster clutch will ship by end of week!
I'd like to have the tranny on the ground by the weekend!Long ago...

Took the bird out to work today. What a difference in feel. I got use to soft suspension from the other car that driving the bird I feel every thing in the road. She runs good. Hopefully the axle bearing issues are over for now.

HP Tuner Fried my PCM?
Last night I was putting to practice my hands on tuning my 98' LS1 T/A. I was simply doing a 'calibration write' no changes made just get a little hands on with the PCM software. I've read two other forums on this one rules as a fried PCM & the other says something about a boot sector which my be recovered. Heard bad things about the 98' PCM model but being a little optimistic has anyone experienced this misfortune? Is there really a way to recover that boot sector? Would hate having to go threw a new PCM having to have the crank relearned ext.
