No, those are the ABS sensors.

Well I'll be dammed, then I need to ckeck the abs sensors. Those are the ones causing my abs inop/brake/tcs lights to come on right? I had this same issue on my 98 and it was the driver side front sensor tore a wire.

No offense meant but if you are banging with a trans mount arm I think something went horribly wrong with the install. I recently installed the UMI relocation crossmember with an aftermarket torque arm and while it was a son of a bitch to get hooked up, there were no clearance issues.

no the install went well. the arm hit the tunnel when you hit bumps, like pretty much everyone that installs torque arms. the banging is to clearance or index the tunnel so it doesn't bang. Every single person I have talked to gets a wrap when they hit bumps. and remember this is a torque arm setup for the manual, I imagine they sit a little different than your automatic.

yes I have one. it has a tiny cut in the usual place. But I think I'm gonna save it and the ram air hood in case of future accidents. parts are starting to get really hard to find at reasonable prices

Auto vs manual makes no difference once you are using a relocation crossmember as the mounting points for the TA bushing will be the same. I am using the Founders TA and have never had it hit at all.

just looked up the founders TA, it looks like the bars are thinner. this may be why it doesn't rub the tunnel. the UMI and BMR look thicker. so you went with a UMI relocation bracket and a founders TA and everything still lined up?

I just checked and all 3 companies use 1.25 x 0.120 tubing for the TA. Yep, I am using the UMI crossmember with the founders TA. I put the TA on the second hole up from the bottom on the crossmember.

Did some minor tuning tweeks with HP Tuners to fix a couple of minor issues. I also enabled DFCO over my lunch hour for the first time in about 3 years. I forgot what a change that would make to slow you down as you let off the throttle. I had to bump up my DFCO MAP enable table after so it would work after my cam install... probably about the time I disabled DFCO.
