I just leave the rubber on till it comes off on its own, I think it looks badass and shows the car gets down

As much as a detail freak that I am, I would remove the rubber asap, and I never felt good about applying a wall of painters tape. Luckily for me my car has street tires on OE wheels, hardly gets dirty at the track. Since i'm a bitch and have a lack of tire spinning while standing still that factors in a little bit too maybe.. .

I probably have 2-3 sets worth of rubber in my rear fender wells. Just LOVE the smell of burning rubber. Also looks bada$$ seeing the smoke pouring out from the wheels. Probably lose 20lbs and another 2 tenths in the 1/4 if I ever took the time to scrap that sh!t outta there! LOL

You could always get some of the 3M protective film that they use to protect the front end peices of a car.

Nice sunny day today so i drove out to get the car in the air to
track down... and stop.... an annoying tinkly rattle sound from
    underneath the car.

After prodding and poking everything it seems it was the fuel filter
canister moving in the bracket. There is no scope for adjusting the
bracket up any tighter so.... a good hefty zip tie got fitted to tug it all
towards the floor and snug everything up tight.

    Worked a treat!

Drove it to Williamsport today for a mall visit and a peak at the Ford dealer since I have a craving to go into debt again for a newer F-150. Fun time driving it and enjoyed flooring it on the on-ramps beating 70mph traffic to the exit lol!

Well after having the ac disconnected for the last 3 yrs I checked the ac on the car last night for leaks; held 30psi after a vacuum for 30 mins. Just need to add freon, oil & belt.

I was worried that the seals would go bad. Glad I sealed up the ac hoses and compressor when I did my engine pull.

Going over everything for my the session on Monday I discovered my water pump So after replacing it and grinding the clearance needed for my 102mm throttle body to fit I also found some other issues like my hose from my catch can to the intake was rubbing on the belt. Fixed it and installed the ac belt back on as well as changed the break in oil. Picked up new set of TR6 plugs in case. Just leaves me topping off the coolant and finish installing my oil temp gauge, then load up the car on trailer.
