I've been a bit absent as of late! I've put another 450 miles on her since the clutch and MC replacement...WOW! If anyone with the 6-speed hasn't done the Tick Performance MC...do it! Awesome feel and no 3rd gear miss shifts...at any RPM!
I hope the rear ended and tires hold up...😊, well, the rear ended anyways!😝. The tires don't have a chance!

Does the Tick MC make that big of a difference? I grind rd gear now and then and it sends me livid angry.
On my ride home from work today I saw a 2nd gen Trans Am traveling south on rt 549. It traveled my path home until the GNR store in Mansfield PA today. Thing sounded pretty wicked! If that happened to be Zapper2003 since he live's in Millerton, that was me in the black Cavalier that passed 2 cars in a row to check out your car .

Darren - wouldn't surprise me if that was Marty Kasper you were following. He has an affinity for those cars and I think is one of the principals of GNR.

Silver- 1999 Trans-Am, 2012 Sonic
Went to a show yesterday had a good time won a little mini trophy for 4th, I guess not to bad for my class 80's to present modified.
I not sure but this guy was parked beside me didn't seem to happy when I told him my fastest 1/4 mile time and it was 4 tenths faster than his fastest. He looked surprised when I said it was just a bolt on car....

BcYes! Huge difference in clutch feel! I used to miss-shift 3rd quite often at hi RPM shifts in my '01! A couple times in the new '00! Then lost my slave!
I missed 3rd twice after installing new MC and clutch, lengthened the turn-buckle a hair, haven't missed a shift yet!😎. And I've done some redline shifts and it shifts like butter!
The Tick Performance MC is well worth the dollars spent and the frustration of getting it in place! (Actually, it "fell" into place after almost two hours of struggle)
AWESOME product! I highly recommend it as an upgrade to any 6M!😄

Axles and bearings and seals ....
Also using a torch on the reluctor rings made it a breeze to pry them carefully off. The new axles were on ice. I baked the reluctors in the oven at 20 minutes at 300. Thy slipped on the new cold axles like butter.Last edited by 79Firebird_99TA; 07-12-2015 at 07:06 PM.

That's cool. Thanks for the verification Zapper. Was a nice looking car. Later on that day I went back through town and it was parked there at GNR, had a '74/'76 front end. Aside of someone who had a yellow '70 Firebird with a 400 engine, that's the oldest one I have seen in our little town of Mansfield. Does he live up on rt 549 just past Roseville? I head that way to get to Crossroads and have noticed that there is a place there with a '70s Camaro and a lifted black single cab GMC truck that I have seen at GNR a couple times also.
Today I was coming home from Troy PA, I went down rt 14 to Canton, saw a blue '77/'78 front end Firebird/Trans Am at a store. Almost turned around to take a look at it.
Thanks for the reply, and the add on for the WS6 improvementsLast edited by DarrenWS6; 07-13-2015 at 03:21 PM. Reason: missed out info

Reached my break in goal on the new rear. So today was oil change day and check over everything. All went well and all looks good. So it's off the the Beaver to put a thrashing on her...

Depending on what the weather looks like this evening, I may go hook onto the trailer and drag it home for a once over. Have to load the track supplies into her and pack some tools, but other than that we are ready to go.

Red- 2002 Trans Am WS6 (M6)
My injectors were getting too close to max when i was at full throttle so I installed new fuel rails, new injectors and new fuel lines. Also picked up a new nitrous bottle from the WS6 Store. It drives fine but finishing some tuning to get it where it was before the installs.
