What did you do with your Trans Am today?

I did a full wash and wax, complete detail on the inside, and did touch up on a few little rock chips on the front. Went through and tightened up all the panels to eliminate the rattle from the sub in the back. Ordered custom WS6 floor mats.

Also should be ordering my new R1 rotors and pads today as soon as I hear back from Kevin.

To celebrate the clean ride, The lady and I cruised to In-n-Out with the T-tops off for a burger and fries. Was beautiful weather all weekend.

Had to cut up the rear mount on the UMI torq arm to get it to fit on the S60 today glad they make them with 2 mounting holes for just this problem. Just have to cut off the out side two holes and move in to the inside holes thus bringing the arm in closer to the drive shaft and away from hitting body. Good Job UMI for covering all the bases...made up a check list to start crossing off things so nothing is over looked

This is the system I'm using if this helps research it. Magnaflow Catback 98-02 F-Body Twin tips sure what muffler it is! Should be in the garage tomorrow night I will look for a number. It for sure is 3" inlet and sounds awesome. I could only imagine your motor paired up with it....

Sway bar mounted, S/S brake lines on, calipers separated from mounting brackets sanded and painted. Amazing how many little things you come across along the way.

Finished up some more odds and ends, brakes, Drive shaft, safety loop, loaded suspension and torqued everything down. Just need to add fluids and swap the front rotors and lines and bleed the system and hopefully the PCM will be back from Frost then it should be go time. I'll post some pictures soon.

Swapped out my driver side window motor and fixed the crack in the panel. Got two motors off carparts .com for 33 bucks and it works better than ever sunshine performance are wonderful guys but I couldnt pay him 100 bucks to fix something I could fix so easily.

finally got it done and out on the road, finished pretty late so missed the inspection so I'm running illegal, oh well! Got 51 miles on it and I'm 100% satisfied, almost no gear noise what so ever, above picture only 1900 rpm's at 70mph in 6th gear that's only 400 more with 4:10's compared to the 3:42's. I have to put 50 miles on it then cool 1/2 hr for several heat cycles. May hit a show tomorrow with some friends

As soon as I rack up 500 on the clock and change the oil. I talked to the guy I ordered it from and he was very adamant about proper break in and it said NO Hard launches or extrem driving. I haven't put more than 1,600 on per year for the past 4 so I plan on stepping it up cause Me Need Another Track Day...

I've been driving mine every day I have had it since buying it May 8th. I wish I could stop but I can't help it. There is only 2 days I haven't brought it out. At some point i'll cool off and be content with it!

Good point! Unlike my truck, I would much prefer to keep this for the long life run. Hopefully nothing ever interrupts that goal.
