I have ABS and a line-lock installed.

That's why. Your ABS ring is on the axles so your ABS sensor can read it properly.
With 3 chl it is located on the center section and the abs ring is part of the diff. I counted the ring teeth between my 10 bolt and the 8.8 and the 8.8 had quite a few more. I check with Curtis and he confirmed that it would give a false reading and that my abs would react differently then what it should.
I also have a line lock as well but makes no difference between 3 or 4 chl.

My brother bought a car from "SPAZ" back in FEB or so. He had a Ford 8.8 installed in it, but it had a broken axle on the drivers side. Also the center section was welded together to give it a locked differential. ( Not good for street use at all) We had to buy new axles from MOSER. All we had to do then was install the ABS rings on the axles and ABS is complete! Wasn't that hard to do at all. So now he has 4 channel ABS, a Ford 8.8 with 410 gears, and a stock GM 5 bolt lug pattern.

For me I have a three channel and a Moser 9" it has the reluctor wheel for abs but the sensor is 1/4 of an inch to short so the ABS is INOP. I have drove 4th gens with the ABS deleted and it makes a world of difference, it really wakes up the stock brakes. When I do it I will make a write up with pictures and whatnot.

For me it is because I want to set my brake bias and my abs doesn't work to begin with or not well anyways. I'd much rather just delete it with a proportioning valve.

Can you explain this to me a little? I put a 3 channel 10 bolt in my normally 4 channel 10 bolt while my 8.8 is being built and now my TCS and ABS light are on and I worry that I'm going to have issues someway somehow.
I guess I'm asking how it wakes up the stock brakes. What are the differences?

Got these for my build to put on my car. The 6.9 is going on the fenders and the 421 on the hood.
