When I notice a light out, I go to the till, No need to go to the auto parts store. Just be sure to replace what you remove so you will always have what you may need.

If I weren't going to be road racing I would have gotten non-adjustables. For now I am going to have them set like stock. The alignment shop will probably hate me huh?

My suggestion to you is to spend a few days getting it close before you take it to a shop. Trying to make the aftermarket ones close to the stock ones is impossible. I tried it and they were so off it was amusing.

How would I get it close? Just by making sure everything is level and flush?

What is the string for? I'll probably PM you some more questions once I get my car to the point it needs this done to be road worthy to get it aligned and inspected.

Toe...you tape the string to the rear wheels (assuming they are aligned properly) and adjust the toe on the front tires till the string is perfectly straight along both the rear tires and the front tires. This is also assuming that the front tires are not pulled in or pushed out with both control arms being adjustable.

I can assure you that was tire smoke only.

    Helicopter crashed into my Formula

An OH-58 helicopter crashed into my Formula at work today. I am currently looking for a passenger fender for a 1998-2002 Firebird.

That would be an interesting claim to the insurance company.

I also do this, but not just for my TA. For the other cars in the stable also. Then every 3 months or so, I take inventory and head off to the parts store and restock. Hard to say how many times I have patted myself on the back for doing this when I, or someone else needed a bulb late at nite or on the weekend.

Where were the ground guys? They're suppose to be one on both sides of the aircraft to prevent this. I'd be very pissed off.

Good luck with the claims process with DOD. Remember go to 3 dealerships for the estimate of repairs.

My day has been sucking... then I saw the pic of the helicopter crunching an F-body. Oddly, my day doesn't seem so bad now.

Good luck on the red tape and repairs!
