Me too. Back when I drove my ws6 everyday, I would park at least 50 yards away from anybody. I have never gotten a door ding in my life. Besides, when the car is sitting by itself, I always enjoy the view walking back to it.It even looks good under a cover.

the t/a's molding is too low anyway, almost any ding would be above the molding.

No, I never go to wal fart, ever. But when I took it to Publix to go grocery shopping, yes, the cover was on. That is one major reason why, at 12 years old, my trans ams still look like new. And per thread title, I put Strano springs on the rear of my hawk. Now I have to order Eibach Sportline springs for the front. The Stranos were too low. 3/8" clearance just doesn't get it.

You do know that the Sportlines will be lower than the Stranos right? Same with the Eibach Pro kit.

    This.

Stranos > Pro Kit > Sportlines in terms of clearance.

If your car sits that low with Strano's installed, I would start checking other suspension components to see what's happening...unless you are running an unusually large tire.

My hawk has the 1LE suspension, still bone stock. If you are familiar with 2002 trans am firehawks, then you may have noticed that the 1LE cars sit higher than the Bilstein cars. Can anybody here shed some light on why a Bilstein suspension ($1099) looks better (lower) than a 1LE suspension ($1899) hawk? SLP couldn't answer that question. Anyway, I like the stance of the Bilstein hawks better than mine. After seeing a thread about sagging springs on firehawks, I bought Strano springs. The rear is now perfect to my eyes. Strano springs took the nose down to 3/8"clearance, too low for my taste. Stock springs are back on the front which makes it higher than the rear. What brand of Eibach springs are on the Bilstein suspension hawks? They sit higher than Strano springs. I'm thinking these are the springs, can anybody confirm this?http://www.stranoparts.com/data/images/p35130153529.jpg Springs, Optional Eibach Package, 1993-02 Camaro/Firebird (set of 4) Strano part #70009. And the car has Koni 4/4s.

My bad. I should have said Eibach progressive rate springs. Advertised 1" drop from stock. Taller than Stranos.

Pulled off the cover, made room to drive her out of the hanger (after charging Batt.) fired her up and went for a 100 mile spin... Whilst I had her out I installed the headlamp gear up-grade thingy... Took about three hours. most of the time was spent hunting those little nuts I kept dropping...$%^##

Got myself a porter cable and the pinnacle xmt polishing kit. A bunch of Adams car care products that they had on clearance and sale and some touch up paint. Should be able to keep me entertained for a couple days when it gets nice out.

I finally got around to soldering in the pass side window fix. Also found the wire I had installed for the dimmer bypass for my DVD player. Today is to order the LED tailight bulbs.
