Purchased a 2ton engine hoist from Harbor Freight. Me and my cousin went in together on it. Got it for 1/2 off. Gotta love a 25% coupon while on sale for 25% off

Honestly... unless you are turboing the HELL our of your engine I can't see the need for greater than the standard racetronix setup. That is me though. Someone with uber more experience with no flow numbers will be along to correct me any second....

I plan on getting a pillar guage pod and get the following guages eventually: AF wideband, oil and trans temp, and fuel pressure (not sure if on the rail or on the pod). Wondering if I should get a coolant temp guage as well or any other guages I should have.

Here is a 3-pillar pod gauge set-up in my vehicle. Jeff also has a nice looking set-up with his 2-pillar pod. From top to bottom: AFR, Fuel Pressure, and Boost/Vacuum.

Boost gets you laid, unless your name is Jon.

Main reason is I will be doing e85 (which needs a e85 safe pump) through a 396 which requires teflon lined fuel lines and since his kit isn't much more and is e85 safe I figured I'd get it. Plus I can get plug and play teflon lined lines with his kit for just a bit more.

Just wanting more info on it like if anyone had difficulty with it.

Looks nice I'll probably do that set up minus the boost guage, I'll probably do something else instead.

Will - it looks like a few members here have this set-up; Ed and Packy. I talked to Packy quite a bit when researching my build and he was extremely helpful. He still pokes his head in here from time to time. I would try PM'ing either of these members and asking if they've had any issues as they've likely had it installed a long time now.

I opened up her vocal chords this morning.

Brought a big ole smile to my face when I fired her up after it was installed.
