Put a Strut Tower Brace on and drove the car around for about 5 miles to see how she handles. I think it kinda tighten up handling or maybe I'm just thinking it does.

Just thinking it does, they look pretty nice though! Annoying when it comes to doing stuff under the hood, they seem to get in the way of everything

You'll notice it more in tight turns, straight line not so much. I like they way mine tighten it up going into the turns.

I guess I'll know more in the spring when I get the car out of the garage. Its kinda hard to tell how it really handles in 5 miles.

I notice it in the turns. Some say it does work and others say they don't. It's all about how you feel about it.

Hardest part besides the cost will be placement of the master cylinder on the firewall and finding a bell housing.

    Master & slave Cylinders
T56 Bell housing - good luck, hard to find replacements (I know, had to replace mine 3 yrs ago.) I got mine from Quicktime (with engine plate & SFI approve), cost $500.
    ECM reprogramming
T56 set up for LSx motor (be careful, some ppl selling T56's set up for LT1's. They have the same internals but different front plate that mates to the bell housing. LT1 T56's are shorter)
    Drive shaft
Cross member - recommend getting the UMI Performance T56 crossmember. Better then stock and removes the Torque Arm off the tail cone.
T56 wire harness - not sure if a complete WH swap but I know they are different then auto.

A4 rear gears are different then M6's....so don't be surprise if it doesn't lunch as fast as a M6 till you swap out the gears. I would strongly recommend just getting a 12 bolt or 9" and not waste any money on upgrading a 10bolt POS rear.

Now unless you are just die hard M6 fan (like me) best option would be trade for a M6 car or get a good stall. Autos have come a long ways and are wining at the track.

Slave will come with the built tranny
I plan on a Tick Master
I am seeing used bellhousings all over the place for 200+ but if I wasnt SFI rating I am looking at 550+ most likely
I have HPT so I will be re-programming myself
Will either swap my UMI A4 tran relo crossmember for an M6 or buy a new one if needed
Wire harness swap is not needed, just some creative re-wiring of the harness

I have 3.23 gears right now, It would not be long after the T-56 swap that I would be putting in an S60.

I have stalled the car. Running an SS4000 right now and I've given it several months. It just doesn't feel right to me. I am a stick driver by nature. I thought I would be ok, if I stalled it but no. So I will be selling the stall and whatever A4 stuff I can when I make the swap.

When this much money is involved, you can't help but plan it out if you want it to be in budget, haha

I am in the Jackson Metro Area

No, I have not heard of them. Do you have some info you can send me? I was just planning on trailering the car down to EPS or Futral after I installed everything.

Going to the E85 setup I'm not sure what all you need in the gauges.

I always believe the gauges should be seen with minimal head movement. Looking down takes your eyes off the road/track. It's why I like the pillar gauge pod.

Also with a flat plate you can drill and tap for N2O switches for later.

Good point. Yeah I don't feel like it would be safe to have guages down there now that I think about it, at least not anything I would want to keep an eye on regarly while driving. I think I will do the solid plate. I plan on getting a pillar guage pod and get the following guages eventually: AF wideband, oil and trans temp, and fuel pressure (not sure if on the rail or on the pod). Wondering if I should get a coolant temp guage as well or any other guages I should have.

I agree...pillar gauges are the stuff. They look awesome in the car, work great, and people outside of the car at stop lights or on the road cant help but drool over them when they see them...

Thats cool. I may do that if I do nitrous but I would want it to fit without getting rid of the stereo.
