What did you do with your Trans Am today?

Missed her like crazy. Been stuck in Oklahoma for the last week and have 5 more weeks to go before I can come home and drive her. What do I miss more the wife or my WS6??? hmmmm 40/60 respectivley HAHA

Oklahoma...? Hope you made it through all the storms ok...I live in Huntsville, AL and deal with tornadoes on a pretty regular basis...not fun.

Had the windshield replaced today and ordered my new head unit. Kenwood DNX-690 package from Double D Mods. Also ordered a cutout turn down. Hopefully that will help keep the underside cleaner.

Turndown is a great idea. I purchased one from another member as they were sold in pairs when he bought his. No soot on our underbody at all.

I had one on my old cut out, the new one doesn't have a flange at the end and welding on it voids the lifetime warranty. I have to come up with something to keep the soot off the undercarriage.

Started cleaning up the under carriage of my car yesterday...when I bought my T/A it wasnt driven for a couple of years which was really good and really bad...the bad is dust and dirt was everywhere, which is pretty much gone now because i've detailed it a couple of times. The undercarriage needs to be cleaned up tho...I'm probably going to throw some sort of paint under the car as well before I'm done. I'll post pics as I go...

Spent two days on the road racking up over 700 miles. I need a new spleen and spine. Michigan needs to fix their roads! I am regretting lowering and stiffening the suspension. Damn compression fractures and bulging disks...

You should try Louisiana roads where I grew up...they have to be ranked pretty high when it comes to worst roads in the country. They will beat you to death...not to mention the pot holes the size of sewer openings

Even worse were the potholes n MSR Tampa in Iraq in 2006-2007 some were big enough to swallow 3 or four cars whole!! lol

I will say they got really big when hurricanes went through tho...but that wasnt too often. I passed by a sink hole once when I lived in North Georgia that opened up in a parking lot...dont wany part of something like that.

They just dump asphalt in the holes, don't tamp it down, slings all over the car and fall in the holes up here. Or hit the bridges and smack the ground and rub your fenders! So goes the alignment!
