saftey gear?

I plan on running the Ring in Germany and im getting my car set up, but then a thought came to me... what kind of safety gear is recommended for something like this? Ive considered a Helmet and a neck brace. Anything else i should considered?

A fire suit w gloves would be a good idea.

Really? My car is a DD so its not a Full on racecar. I would consider a fire extingusher. I looked into hans devises but jesus are they expensive. Even the non name brand ones are expensive. I saw a used one on ebay for like $500.

no,its if you get trapped in your car. and rescue takes a few minutes. that,s how my dad died. its what they suit you up in for a nascar ride along. my .02

ok, ill look into that. If anything ill wear my old Nomex Tanker suit lol. Be the only guy on the ring in a army green jump suit with Sergeant strips LOL

well, got my eye on a helmet and a jacket. Already have nomex gloves. not sure if i wanna get a suit but still considering it.

Im sure i could, but ive been meaning to replace my old helmet. Its out of date and ive been wanting a new one for awhile too.
