2011 M3 vs 01 Z28

Raced against a 2011 M3 Convertible with the DSG Tranny. The car shifts blazin quick and figured i would be f*cked as soon as i was gonna shift into the next gear. We raced from about 55mph to about 117-118mph. I was shocked i was able to pull on him, first run i let him go first since i cant hear his honks or his motor which was a mistake, didnt know when he went WOT and i went late. The other run since again i cant hear the horn i downshifted and tapped the throttle a bit and had a slight jump and he went WOT. Both races came out to be the same i got about a car length on him on both runs.

i raced a 2010 M3 in my stock cts-v. had a similar result that you did i pulled a little from 60-130

ya i pull faster and faster as the speeds get higher, i dont know if its all the mods ive done but the SSRA i dont think would help that much.

ya for sure the cut out was open and no cats. I might in the near future put on a electric cut out so i can close it. Im getting older and the sound is a little annoying sometimes.

No not at all, alot of times ive gotten the thumbs up by the local police. Im sure i will eventually get a officer that will get very annoyed and give me a fix it ticket if not worse but ive had 5 camaro's so far and knock on wood nothing yet but youll never know. Usually the ones they love to write tickets for is 4 bangers and V6 cars for some reason.

here in my area they trip alot bout exhaust noise... some times they even send you to the CHP for inspection,,

my friend on his 00 gt had to go for inspection,,
i have a friend he got pulled over twice on his 00 sw6.. he has the same setup you have on the exhaust
the cops pulled him over to ask him what he got on the exhaust just cuz they like the way it sounds..

Yep. Sits at 94 decibels at idol and 119 at 4k, actually gets quieter at 5k on up.
