    cutting begins......the plastic bag helped.........but still a few shavings got in the valley.........used a dremel with those quickchange cut off wheels.......made the 1st cut at the bottom......then cuts in the middle......a big hammer will break off the pieces so you dont have to cut all the way.......i used a air grinder to finish up

    just as according to LS1howto.......take the cut down to the bottom of the recess......I cleaned up the valley .....looked waaaay worse before full of hardened oil

    LS6 steam tube.......the new style does NOT use LS1 gaskets under the blocks

    put another LS6 steam tube in the rear......no block offs.....new OPSU ...........dealer.......80$

    you cant see it.....but using the LS6 steam tube in the rear reverses the outlet....I cut the outlet off to about 1/2 inch and soldered it shut....the outlet hit the main wire harness before I cut it....smack dab in the middle of it

    button head bolts.....1 day I might get a FAST 102........got them off ebay......cheap........ace hardware charges out the ass for stainless metric bolts

    what LS1howto did not tell you........the wells for the knock sensors get filled with water...I had 1/2 of water in mine......leaving you this......add 2 KS to the parts list before hand........lucky for me autozone had some in stock

    when I put the KS wiring harness back on I use some permatex non harding sealer on the plastic caps to keep water out

    all done.......2 days......and BTW new intake gaskets are a MUST.....the old rubber 1s were shrunk and shriveled......LS1howto did not tell ya that either
