Took on a late C4 convertible.

left town heading home the other night with my little brother (who was visiting for the weekend and is also a Mustang/Evo fanboy who always gives me hell about my car) and up onto the on-ramp comes a late C4 'vette similar to:



the 'vette had dealor tags and the driver was a guy with his wife i assume. he made a couple passes and was very impressive. chris said something to the effect of "whoaaa! your going to lose if you race him" about the same time the guy starts making facial expressions and hand gestures suggestioning i should run.

going 65, we both motioned a 1, 2, 3, go! unexpectedly, I broke traction and got a little squirrely for a short time. this scared the hell out of my brother and apparently the vette pilot as well, because when I let off at about a buck 10 and he caught back up, he threw his hands up and said "I GIVE!" with a smile.

this experience still hasnt changed my brother to an LS junkie, but i hope it put him a little closer to seeing the light someday.

I took down the same basic vette a while back. Beat him from a roll and from a dig. I think he had the LT-1 engine. He was a cool guy and was impressed with the power of the LS-1. Were now friends and he has a Z06. Other kills include:
