Vernon Walls of Dallas describes himself as a "57-year-old Phat Phart," but we're convinced he is just as young as he ever was. As the President of the North Texas Third Gen Association, it should come as no surprise that his best-of-show-winning '91 Firebird is packed with some pretty cool stuff. A TPiS MiniRam intake supplies air and fuel to a pair of AFR 195 Eliminator heads, which sit atop a late '70's small-block. A built T56 sends power back to a 9-inch rearend, which turns a set of 9.5-inch Centerline wheels wrapped in Falken rubber. The best part? This is Vern's daily driver, which just passed Dallas emissions and still gets 22 mpg. Rock on, Vern!
