1st KILL !
woot i finaly raced some one, after 2 months of having my trans am i get a challenge from a respectable car a 89 mustang gt. i was stitting at a light minding my own buisness rocking it to Metallica when i hear some one rev, i look over and boom a black foxbody, i was like oh hell this shit is on! i reved back on waited, light turned green and all hell broke loose, he got the jump on me but as we neared 90 i started to gain on him, what felt like forever we were neck and neck till i walked on him @115 and had to shut it down.
he followed me on the the highway and did a 50mph launch and that is where he made his misstake. he though he had me but it was just lag time for my A4 to shif down, i caught him at 70mph and when i reached about 120 he was a whole car and a half be hind me! IDK if he missed a gear but hey a win is a win. cant wait to see him when i upgrade my car

it was a small cam, when he finaly crashed it we overhalled it with a stroked 427(ID remeber what it turned it up too) w/ fuel injection, Big cam, heads, 9" rear, 410 gears if i remember right, 5 spd short throw, 305 nittos on the back, LT's and the 3" x pipe, msd coil, sp wires, iridum plugs, light weight flywheel aluminum drive shaft new coils/springs all the way arround. stripped of everything but 2 cobra seats w/ 5 point harnesses, roll cage, no ac or radio, we fabbed up fiberglass body panels for it, beefed up the frame, roll bars, dry sup, all new fuel system;lines pump filter injectors the works,ext.... oh and my fav 150 shot of the good stuff . ran 10.4 @ little river it still looked some what stock it was a total sleeper.

Good kill to the OP, I just had my first kill with a magnum r/t lol I've only owned my TA a month
IDK why it's a surprise the foxbody kept up! out here in Detroit those old 5.0's are pretty popluar and always modded heavily!

B2300 (Fluffy) Retired- Plain-Jane Dodge Truck
To use an old phrase...."a fox-body Mustang is like a box of chocolates - you never know what's inside until you bite into it".
To the OP....glad you are making efforts to keep it safe. Wide, deserted roads with no other cars around (and no spectators) is the way it should be done. Of course, the track is even better.
