my NA 02 ws6 vs turbo gt 02

so the night i got my car finished up with the 408 lq9 stroker, i come off my exit ramp, and an 02ish gt stanger with what sounded like a massive turbo pulled up beside me. i dont really wanna spin my motor past 4500 (if i burned my rings up i'd kill myself at this point) but its a mustang. i have to do SOMETHING. so i give him a little rev and he nods at me. so i put it down in second on a 45 roll, and he floorboards it without warning. so i turned it to 4500, hit third, and sucked his headlights out. i'm a a hardcore mustang hater, so it really made my night.

550 at 4500rpm. fuel pump wont support the motor after that and now the fuel pump is dead so i need a new one and a better tune.

408 lq9 stroker, tsp stage 2.5 heads (5.3) tsp magicstick4 .649/.609 cam, full balanced rot assy from eagle, viper-spec built t56, pacesetter lt's custom 3in y borla muffler, fast 92 intake + tb, volant cai, msd wires. stock coils, stock suspension, stock rear end.

made 550 rwhp at 4500 rpm, after that it would lean out horribly, ahd to stop on the dyno. thats on a light tune, to try and break the motor in and not kill the fuel pump.

Those are great numbers. Maybe I should talk to you about my build. Im not sure if I want to supercharge or go na? With that cam are you still able to use it as a daily driver?

yea i still drive it every day ( when it runs ) the driveability isnt to great, with such a huge cam, it tends to jerk really bad off idle. but, its worth dealin with it. plus the clutch is a monster.

UPDATE fuel pump comin in tomoro, install this week, not sure on when i'll have the money to get it dyno tuned tho
