TBSS vs 01 Z28
Well im coming to work and i see this white TBSS coming up fast on the freeway its pretty much wide open since its memorial day. So he is probably at about 90+ i said why not and pulled up right next to him as he slowed a bit and we were doing about 80mph. Went from 80-115mph i got 3 1/2-4 cars easy and once i got into 5th it was really done and had about 10-12 cars easy at the end of the race. Funny thing is when i slowed down and he went by me because i needed to exit, it was the mechanic that works at our dealer that installed my headers, lol.

Hmmm. you have a lot of mods so I guess he was totally "on it". Its hard ot believe you walked that badly though which makes me think at around 100 he just backed off.
We just sold my wifes TBSS on the 20th. While I could walk away from it, it was slow and definately not more then 3 maybe 4 car lengths from 70 to about 120 without the juice on and I'm pretty much as bolted up as possible. Hers was bone ass stock.
I was surprised how fast that thing really was.
Good kill though.
Funny how its even possible to put a SUV into a race against an LS1. Times sure have changed haven't they?1999 WS6 - Black - 414rwhp 401rwtq w/o NOS

He could've backed off after 100mph when i see him tomorow ill ask him when he exactly let off but when i went from 4th to 5th i noticed the lag from pulling on him and it looked like he was still on it when i was watching him in my rear view but when we were side by side and punched it at about 80 it was a good pull and he actually gunned it first. Either way i wasnt really expecting to pull on it the way i did and wasnt really expecting a SUV especially stock to cause alot of damage but i love the way it looks. It looked nice coming up from behind at the speed he was before we started racing.

Nice kill. I love the TBSS but I'm itching for a fast LS car, probably going to be a Gen 1 V next year.

Thanks RJWZ28, cant wait to ask him what speed he let off. At about 115mph when i went from 4th to 5th it seemed like he was still racing once i got to about 125-130 i could tell he let off since i saw him drop back dramatically but will see.
