Poopras? They can safely handle 800-1000whp stock bottom end. which makes them cheap to mod once you buy one. I ran a supra down in OC 2 weeks ago and it was the one race I def thought it could go either way. I won but I dont think it was too modded. Def a respectable car.

like someone stated before i dont see supras as ricers, just because they arent pieces of shit. They are one of japans cars that was actually made very good like the skyline. I think honda is the king of rice, by far. Either way if u throw a large amount of boost on any motor its going to be fast, BUT, the bigger the motor the faster itll be. Thats why no boosted supra is going to beat me after i get a turbo set up lol.

It was white with black wheels. Body kit with a awesome hood. Sounded sicker then shit Guy driving was probably around mid to late 30's

Are you serious?? Heavier spinning mass = greater innercial(sp)torque.. An internal combustion engine creates two kinds of torque. One is created by the combustion process (such as you discribed) the other is created as a by product of the rotational mass of the object that is spinning.. Basics of how an internal combustion engine works.. Basic physics.. Think of it like this, if you use an aluminum flywheel on an engine it will spin up faster but has less torque @ a given rpm.. Now using a steel flywheel (same engine) it takes longer to spin up but has greater torque @ the same given rpm due to it's heavier rotating mass..

No, I understand the physics of it, and I know that when you cut rotational mass in your driveline your rwhp improves, I just never really considered that the weight difference in the crankshaft would account for anything more than minimal differences in torque output. It makes sense that it would make a difference, I just wouldn't think it would be very much of a difference. I would think that the torque advantages of the larger ci and the shorter crank would outweigh the torque benefit of having a longer crank and a smaller displacement.

well put. Looks like u have no room for AC. when i first got my car it had no AC for a few months and it sucked. now its not too bad, id sweat my ass off without it. 2JZs dumped into a 240sx with some nice boost can run really fast.

Not all 1000+hp supra run like crap. The ones setup well can be wicked quick but for every one of those there is a guy who just put the biggest turbo he could find and has about 800rpms of full boost lol.
