    New shoes for my Tahoe

What do you guys think? 24X10 Milanni Stellar, black/machine finish on 305/35/24 Pirelli Scorpion Asimmetrico.

Night and day difference in looks and handling.
Too bad it started to rain the day I got them installed.

I've debadge both sides and trunk except for one S I left on the pillar so I can later add another one for the SS look.
Also thinking about blacking out the grill and some how getting rid of the Chevy logo on the front.

It will look somewhat like this after I have the door handles painted body color and have a body shop fill in the guide wholes left from the Chevy logo on the trunk.

    02 CETA #654 7800 miles
    09 G8 GT liquid red, sport/premium/sunroof red/black int
    07 Tahoe LS

...you'll know it's me when I come through your town
I'm gonna ride around in style, I'm gonna drive everybody wild
'cause I'll have the only one there is around

The G8 is 98% stock. All I did was ditched the stock mufflers for a straight pipe axle back, tinted the bottom half on the tail lights, and removed all badges.
I'm having the grill inserts painted black. Only plans for it are tinted windows and blacked out door sills. I'd like to get an intake and tune but its only got 4K miles and I like having a warranty.

And what I'd like it to look like if I had the cash...

I've never been inside a BMW but the G8 seems very comfortable. Here are some pics.

This is just like mine except mine has the sport pedals.

Love the G8, great cars. I tried to figure out a way to swing a GXP when Pontiac was shutting down, but I couldn't work it into the budget. Oh well. Nice Tahoe as well, but you should give it some power to back that SS badge.

What he said. I will stick with the traditional LTX-MS. Now that they have been on a bit, is the trade off of ride versus handling worth it for you? The look they will not absorb any road variation. How is that new (2007 up) style Tahoe anyway? Smooth rider?

I am also sort of in the market for a G8GT.

The ride is actually not much different from before. I think it actually rides better with the 10 inch wheels as compared to the bicycle tires it had from the factory. With the 305/35 series tire I actually have plenty of sidewall compared to others that ride on 24s so they do absorb a lot of road noise and vibration.

The only other Tahoe I've driven was a 99 and this new trucks are night and day. My brother drives an 04 Yukon Denali and as a passenger I could tell that my Tahoe rides a bit smoother.

As far as the G8 goes, that thing is so much fun. RWD 6 liter V8 with independent rear suspension and limited slip diff.... I wish I had the extra coin for the GXP, they only made 1,8XX of those and now that Pontiac is gone I think they should hold their value very good. Plus you can find them with a stick...

I wish I could imagine something like that. I have to take my wife and daughters to the shows.
