02 WS6 M6 vs 02 WS6 A4

So this wasnt today or anything (last month) but I raced my buddy in his A4 WS6. His mods are lid, BBK Intake, Fixed A BIG CAM,3600 stall, pacesetter LTs, Straight pipes back. LOUD.
He dynoed 396.7rwhp/ and I think 383rwtq to the wheels. Well My mods are lid, TSP LT's and magnaflow catless catback. My car is an M6 btw

We started with a roll (In mexico, of course) at around 50mph. I let him honk so I can focus on shifting. 3rd honk we both gun it. I jump about a half a car right off (now I'm just waiting for his car to come through) but I glance back and notice I'm inching away. We get to about 115- somewhere and I'm thinkin he missed shifted lol (AUTO)

so he says 20.
we get down to 20mph and same thing 3 honk he jumps a half car and stays there until about 3rd gear, then I start to notice where his horsepower is and he starts widening the gap. I didn't lose horribly but when we ended his rear was about even with the front of my car.

ALL in all not bad for my little car rollin with the favorable winner.

he must have went to the same shop that my cousin did with his 05 stang. 380 rwhp with full bolt ons.

nice runs, with that stall an cam i would of thought he would have yanked u alot harder than he did??? or are Autos that much of a dog? doenst give me much hope if a non cam M6 car is hangin with bolt on, cammed and stalled autos lol..

good question. We are stumped. I witnessed his car dyno the 396 with the same dyno and same tuner as me. (have video to prove) I dynoed the 358 on Saturday but why my car runs with his or why his car seems slow is a mystery to all of us. I wish I had video of me racing him but I don't.

Stock, they're rated with about a half-second difference on 0-60 times I think. 5.2 vs 5.7 seconds is what I seem to remember reading somewhere...
