Taking off the cats
So as you know I have a V6 Camaro and it has a flowmaster exhaust with a cutout. My question is, would it make the exhaust louder if I took off the cats? I don't have to deal with emissions so that's not a problem for me.

I had mine off for a while with the old single trash can muffler and yes it was a little more growly. But I replaced the cat and built a custom cat back for mine so it's much louder now but not too loud.. She'll fall into the exempt catagory this year. So @ some point right around the same time the blower/restore project goes to full bore I'll trash the setup and build a new one with possibly 2 mufflers.
