It seems like you are trying to compare a 600whp EVO vs. a stock LS1. Of course, there are many LS1s that would beat that EVO on the street, but they'd be doing upper 600+whp on some form of forced induction.

Like some of you have said, there is always someone faster. Here is another DSM vs. a supercharged LS1 Camaro and a turbocharged LS1 Camaro... and some Nissan love at the end:

Same car, this is a more exciting video:
Dude I said in my post that those were fast cars...the OP's race was certainly not against a 600awhp evo so I'm not even sure why it's being discussed. I'm also not sure why you keep posting those videos, we can all surf the web and find videos of car x beating car y.

I don't know either. He always posts completely unrelated videos that nobody cares about to try and prove that imports can be fast or something along those lines. Once again, nobody cares, we know how to navigate youtube.com if we want to find something.

The new ones are even better. Now they retail for over $40,000, and barely manage to hit 100MPH in the 1/4. So you get a piece of shit Mitsubishi lancer for $40K+ thats not fast, not good looking, and built to fall apart in a year. Awesome. Almost as cool as the new ('08+) STi, which is also extremely overpriced and even more unreliable.
yup. you know what can hit 100 mph in the 1\4 too? 2v stangs. so why aren't people singing their praises? emo's and sti's are lame. fuck 4 bangers that get out of the hole quick then completely dog out.

correct. there's also a cobalt that runs 7's at 200+ mph with 1400 hp. why not post those?

    Amen on that!

Haha nahh, its just a daily driver. Trying to keep the powertrain warranty entact for the 5 yr/100K miles. Although the GM Stage 1 is pretty enticing (keeps the factory warranty), I just can't justify the cost right now

It does have a Hahn Racecraft intake though, it was on there when I bought it
