    repost/old video/etc.

and there were only 6 1998 firehawks made, not all 6 had those headlights and it was only an option in that year.

All prototypes, no "official" Firehawk production in 1998. Since the fixed headlamps didn't pass DOT testing, all prototypes w/ them had to be re-fitted w/ the pop-ups before they could be licensed.

Never saw it, so I enjoyed it. I was overseas in Germany when the 98's came out so it was 2 yrs before I saw one.

well i assume all six are in the hands of collectors today, and the few that did have them were hopefully not re-fitted.

I thought those were pretty cool, look better than the cheap ebay kits. I believe they had to make hood modifications as well to make them fit. I cannot remember the site, but the guy that makes them puts em on ebay from time to time. I came across one set of those headlights once. THink he was asking $10-30k for them.

Some people don't have time to waste going through the thousands of threads to make sure they don't "repost". Stating the fact only makes you seem like more of a jerk. Quite a few people on this forum, including myself (having been a member on this site for two years longer than you I might add), have never seen this video. We don't all have hours on end to spend on the internet.

Cool video, I haven't read deep enough into Firehawks to know about the 98 concepts. Not big on the headlights, I dig the flip-ups. I still debate on finding a Firehawk or going with an 04 Cobra after I pay off the SS...those Firehawks are sexy.

I've said what I wanted to say, and digress and move on. I'm in the office drafting today instead of out surveying, so I might be a little grumpy.

sounds like u need to get off the internet and go drive your car then.

I've seen it before, and still love it. firehawk hood and those lights look great, would probably seem out of place with a WS6 hood.

I've saw that clip in 98 and was dissapointed after seeing 2 hawks at a dealer in Mass with normal flip up lights. Found out from the dealer that those Weren't even an option you could order. I don't think they would look good with a stock or WS6 hood but they do flow well in my opinion with the firehawk hood design. I still wanna buy a firehawk when I find the right one in the right condition, but I would like to get my hands on a hood one of these days since I still see them being sold but a little too expensive considering the other mods I could do with that money. Kinda why I bought a aftermarket WS6 hood, I wanted the ram air for the volant and it was only $250, looks better than a stock hood but I would have gotten a Hawk or Raptor hood if there wasn't such a price difference.
