Australia Just Kills It With GM Goodness!
How about a supercharged 570hp/528tq LS3 powered Vauxhall VXR8 or a 419hp LS3 powered Vauxhall Maloo VXR.

they were both LS3s...you could see it on the intake manifold of the Maloo.

I wonder why GM doesn't bring some of these cars to the states. They could bring the Maloo over as an El Camino, I bet they would sell a ton of them. They are manufacturing the G8 as the Caprice but only as a police car.

GM was going to bring the maloo over as a pontiac,but,then pontiac died so they canned that idea. They even held a contest to name the sport ute,stating that they were going to leave it up to the public wether or not it came over as the next El Camino. Originally Posted by wooddaniel

If I had to guess it would be because of all the stipulations the government has put on GM since the bailout, However that does not answer the question what about before the bailout.
