Was Probably the L99 SS there only like 320-330 rwhp or something like that 6 Speed Auto Rapes the Horsepower.

It's not so much the auto's fault,,,see below

Difference in the HP rating on the A6 vs M6 in the 2010 is because of the variable valve timing and cylinder deactivation crap on the auto.

This is correct. After they are tuned to compensate for these things, they really come alive.

Keep in mind, that's at Atco Raceway, which is sea level. Most of the time they have negative DA numbers, so you have to take it with a grain of salt.

In the 4th gens defense too,,,,most of the magazine tests of the new cars, including mustangs and the new 5th gen camaro are also performed out there with great DA numbers, so as to publish impressive times.

They are not indictive of what the general public will see at various tracks around the country.

Which is why you see most stock 4th gens run anywhere from low 13's to high 13's. And why most of the stock 5th gens I see are also stuck in the 13's. Albiet, low 13's from what I've seen.

The car in question is an M6 SS that went 12.58 @ 111 mph, 1.97 60 ft. Bowling Green, KY, this past Sunday. Can't verify that it was stock, but no reason to believe otherwise.
