yea my dad had a 1975 oldsmobile omega with a rocket in it...that son of a bitch would run like a raped date!!

Yeah the early G-body Cutlass had a 260 olds V8. then the rest of the years had 307, 307HO, Olds diesel, or the V6. Canadian Cutlass's came with a chevy 305. All very slow. Half the problem was the 2.14 and 2.42 rear end ratio 95% of them had

My old man had a 65 Olds f-85 4dr. with a possi and the old "jet fire" 330 2bbl. 2 spd slip-slide auto.. 330 was a good running motor. Loved how if you stood on it, it would'nt come out of 1st till around 70 mph.. My old man DD'ed it till the 260k mark on the clock. After his motor cycle accident it sat for about 6 months on his street. Sold her for 300 bucks, I went out pumped the gas a few times and she fired right up. Had it running when the guy came to look @ it with his buddy. He bought it on the spot with current (@ the time) inspection and drove it home that night.. Miss that old beater..
