So what if he got the years wrong. Im pretty sure all the 2v mustangs were slow.

You are quite right with that. The 96-98 and the few 95's that got the 4.6 are real slow.

I have a friend with a 96 A4 vert. I had a 2003 Cavalier with the Ecotech and a stick and I'd beat him on the street. We went to the track once with the two cars and he ran a 15.4 to my 15.7. I beat him at the light for the win at the end. Our 1/8 mile times were identical and the Cavalier had .2 mph more speed.

BLKCLOUD, you know what i exactly meant by 98-2004. My bad i was off by one year. Either way 225 or 260 against a 98-02 LS1 car is a pointless race without a doubt and unless they are heavily modded they stand no chance. I must admit after driving the 07 used one we have on our lot, its a huge improvement over the (99-04) stangs. mw98transam, thanks for backing me up, im glad there are a few people on here that dont bash you for having a minor mistake. FYI people do know sometimes what year model and how much hp the cars pull, sometime people make mistakes typing on a regular bases, i for one aint different.

No problem. I dont know or care about those stangs and you are exactly right about it being a pointless race even with 260 hp.

Wow - my feelings are almost hurt! I tried to make it clear that it was just a minor goof. Some of you kiddies are just a bit too touchy - especially given that you drive such a goldly machine!

Oh well, maybe one of these days I'll move (back) up to the status of you big-boy LS1 dudes!
