    Most Expensive Kill Ever

So about a month ago now I was out cruising. As I am minding my own business, a red nasty sounding WS6 with a younger guy comes up on me and gets beside me. We are both going about 40 and he punches it and speeds off. I maintain my speed. So he slows down and revs it up and punches it again. Again, I maintain my speed. Usually I wouldn't stray for a second at the opportunity to have some fun, but my car had been running less than desirable and I was out trying to see if cleaning the MAF made it any better.

So at the next light I get the privilege of pulling up right next to this guy. I ask him what he has done. He rattled off some things and I was like cool...nice WS6, sounds good.

So we take off and this fucker revs at me again. So that's it I say to myself. So I get up next to him and we are going about 35MPH and I give him the signal to honk. From a 2nd gear roll we both punch it and I pull on this guy a good amount. We got it up to about 70MPH and then slowed down. He was a good ways behind me.

We get up a ways and he wants to go again, but from a higher speed. So we take off from about 55MPH. I had mine in 3rd and I pulled on him a shit load. This time I took it up to about 90 before I let off.

He rolled next to me and gave me the thumbs up.

He left and as I went to push the clutch in as I was just coasting in 4th, my car was stuck in 4th. Trashed the synchros......

So now the car is getting a tranny upgrade. $1695, but I got the kill....twice!

Ha, yeah. That saying sounds about right.

4th gear stuck several months ago, but once I got it out, it shifted fine from that point forward until this happened.

I knew it would be just a matter of time.

Just waiting on the car to get back in my hands so I can try to enjoy it while the weather still permits me to.

wonder what advantage you had (in modifications) over the WS6 if you were beating him by a lot? Nice kill though. Wish I could put my own kill stories on here

Full mods are in signature, but as far as HP mods, I only have LTs, ORY, exhaust, and a lid.

I think the biggest difference was I have 4.11 gearing through a 9".
Boost gets you laid, unless your name is Jon.
